The recent Typhoon in China shows how Digital Currency without cash can lead to starvation and deprivation.
The digital money is inside the phone, which is dead as there is no power because of the storm. The electric car is dead and can't be recharged.
The effects of the Typhoon are the same as being blacklisted by the government as they can turn off your phone whenever they want if you step out of line.
